Our Mission
Lambda Alpha Sigma aims to be a pillar in the community through public service, educating the youth, promoting leadership, and growth amongst women. Lambda Alpha Sigma will foster an environment of sincere and genuine sisterhood built on honesty, integrity, respect, and love for one’s self and for one another. Lambda Alpha Sigma will be a safe space guided by the unity of like-minded women and with good grace and focus to enhance a GREATER presence of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. in Arizona.
Our Story
Chartered on June 6, 2009, and Reactivated on August 22, 2020, Lambda Alpha Sigma Alumnae Chapter has welcomed strong-willed and intelligent members into our Sorority. Founded by a group of audacious and courageous women who took a leap of faith to form this chapter, our hope is to keep their legacy alive for generations to come. We encourage intellectual growth and success by offering alumnae networking opportunities and a variety of events throughout the year, which encourage bonding between members and help create a foundation of lasting sisterhood.
